Six years ago, I once shot a roll of expired film that was 42 years past its expiration date. Because it had been stored for far too long, even when shooting as if it were ISO 1, it was so dark that you could barely see a thing.

My impression of expired film had always been that it was monochromatic and dull, but as it turns out, you can't paint everyone with the same brush—this time, I've discovered a whole new flavor!

This time, I brought out a lot of my collection and put them into our Expired Film Gatcha Machine in our lab. Following my self-created "Expired Film One-Tenth ISO Setting Method," I set out to re-explore other expired film stocks! The results were surprisingly wonderful.

Of course, no matter what method you use, the number one golden rule for shooting expired film is: Shot under extremely bright sunlight!

After that, the most important thing is to choose a camera where you can manually adjust the aperture and shutter speed parameters for shooting.
What I got from our Expired Film Gatcha Machine this time was Konica Business Use 100 film, and I directly set it to iso10.
